Follow the Yellow Brick Road as Spalding Academy perform The Wizard of Oz

'There’s no place like home!' Spalding Academy perform their take on the musical classic ‘The Wizard of Oz’ next week.

Students from year seven to eleven have been working effortlessly on the show.

Director and producer, Frederica Clarke, said: "After months of rehearsals, hard work and dedication, the show is finally coming together. We are so excited to be performing a classic musical which can be enjoyed by all ages."

More than 70 students are involved in the performance, both on and off stage.

With a live band, led by Karl Gernert from Act II theatre school, famous musical numbers and wonderful characters played by talented cast members, it is hoped to be another sell out show.

The show takes place on Wednesday, February 27, Thursday, February 28, and Friday, March 1 at 7pm. Tickets can be purchased from the school's main reception after half-term.
