Free circus skills day at Ayscoughfee Hall and Gardens in Spalding

Ayscoughfee Hall and Gardens in Spalding is the venue for what promises to be a fun-filled circus themed day for the family on Wednesday, August 21.

The event was a great success last year and it welcomes back free circus skills with the Earthbound Misfits along with Transported’s aerial dance rig, circus themed crafts and a chance to jump around on a bouncy castle. It all starts at midday.

There are two performances of the live show ‘Belly of the Whale’ at 1.30pm and 5pm. This is a ‘pay what you can’ event.

Belly of the Whale has been put together by Ockham Razor, winners of the Total Theatre & Jacksons Lane Award for Circus at the Edinburgh Fringe.

The performers appear like surfers on a wild sea, riding a giant semi-circular see-saw made of wood and steel, based around the concept of the belly of the whale.
