A children’s half-term show will shed light on the important issue of anxiety in young people, writes Patrick Walsh.

Butterflies, a joint production between Tangled Feet and Half Moon, is aimed at helping children overcome their anxiety and questions.

Butterflies takes the audience on an adventure with the three main characters crossing uncharted lands, making new, exciting discoveries - all while overcoming their self-doubt.

“Our research suggests that about one in eight young people have struggled with anxiety,” says Tangled Feet Co-Artistic Director, Nathan Curry.

“We wanted to find a new way to discuss this theatrically, but with an uplifting , fun and touching story.”

It’s on at the South Holland Centre on Wednesday, October 24, at 2pm. Book via www.southhollandcentre.co.uk or call 01775 764777.
