The classic murder mystery The Game’s Afoot is given a comic interpretation on the Spalding stage.

SADOS is putting on Ken Ludwig’s award-winning play at South Holland Centre in Spalding from Wednesday.

It is Christmas Eve 1936 and we join world-renowned actor William Gillette (played by Jonathan Tibbs) at his Connecticut mansion as he prepares for the festivities.

However, Gillette, best known for playing Sherlock Holmes on Broadway, is about to face his greatest challenge as life imitates art and he must delve into the psyche of the world’s greatest detective to solve a mystery of his own.

It runs from next Wednesday to Saturday, November 26 (7.30pm). Tickets £10/£9.
