Help Spalding and Holbeach Macmillan Cancer Support at clothes swap event

Raise money for charity this Saturday (October 5) and refresh your wardrobe at the same time.

All are invited to take part in The Swishing Clothes Swap Party, organised by Spalding and Holbeach Macmillan Cancer Support, at Spalding Grammar School.

Bring along your unwanted clean clothes, shoes, accessories or jewellery in exchange for tokens, which can then be used to choose a second-hand item that someone else has brought in.

The party starts at 11am and runs until 2pm at the school in the Assembly Hall via the Priory Road entrance. Entry is then £5 at the door.

You can drop off your swap items by taking them to the Grammar School on Saturday, between 9-10am. Alternatively, they can be dropped off at Strands Hair Salon in Clover Way, Spalding, until Friday, (October 4). Items left over at the end will be up for sale until 2.30pm.

Those taking part in the charity swap are asked, please, to bring at least three items, but there is no limit to the number of items you can bring.

All the belongings should be of good, clean condition; clothes should be on a hanger, accessories and jewellery in a clear plastic bag and shoes in a box or bag.
