Music for All will host free music lessons in Holbeach next month as part of their Learn to Play initiative
Free music lessons are coming to Holbeach next month.
The Music for All group have announced the return of their popular ‘Learn to Play’ programme, which will encourage people of all ages to gain access to musical instruments on September 25.
Holbeach Town Band Hall will play host, with free lessons of between 10 and 15 minutes on offer, and further venues will be announced over the coming weeks.
Ambassadors for the programme include Jools Holland and Snow Patrol.
Tony Followell, chair of trustees at Music for All, said: “The positive impact of learning to play a musical instrument is well known, and the past 18 months have highlighted the enormous benefits music can offer to individual wellbeing and social cohesion.
“The universal appeal of music speaks to us all and we want everyone to have the opportunity to experience music making for themselves.”
