Rock fans will have plenty to get their teeth into when a popular festival makes its way to Peterborough for the first time.

The Cambridge Rock Festival will be taking place at the East of England Showground this summer and boasts a huge line up of 65 acts.

The festival will run from Thursday, June 16 to Sunday, June 19 - and among this years headliners are Focus, Cats in Space, When Rivers Meet and many more.

The annual family-run music festival, which is now approaching its 17th year, has seen nationally and internationally well-known acts perform on its various stages, but was forced to postpone in 2020 and 2021 due to pandemic restrictions.

On its return, the festival will continue to feature its usual bars, with more than 70 real ales and 25 farmhouse ciders on sale as well as the new specialist gin, Pimms & Prosecco bar.

Dave Roberts, festival director, said: “We’re sure that the move has great benefits for all those attending, including tiered seating, hard standing, car park and site roads, permanent buildings, better transport links and more affordable accommodation for those not wishing to camp.”

On site camping will still be on offer too.
