Peterborough theatre's right royal good series
There will be entertainment fit for a King and Queen in Peterborough next month.
To mark the Platinum Jubilee The Cresset will be putting on a series of shows which are bound to give you a right royal time.
On Wednesday, June 8 there’s a regal and patriotic afternoon, with Neil Sands and his wonderful West End cast will put on an uplifting afternoon to bring back golden memories.
With songs made famous by many of The Queen’s favourite singers and stars from her Royal Command performances, there will be show tunes, a cockney knees up, a rousing section from Last Night of the Proms and, of course, the signature flag waving finale in a tribute to the veterans of her armed forces, with those legendary Songs That Won The War.
Then, on Friday, June 10, The King will be taking to the stage.
Ben Portsmouth, a multi-talented musician and singer/songwriter and the Worldwide Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist, will be performing all of the hits we know and love.
Internationally renowned as one of (if not the) best Elvis tribute in the world today, Ben will bring his unique style and charisma and will show audiences why he is regarded as the best in the business.
On Sunday, June 19, Gary Mullen will be performing all the iconic hits at One Night of Queen, which is a spectacular live concert.
The show perfectly recreates the look, sound, pomp and showmanship of arguably the greatest rock band of all time.
