Live music, 90 ales and more at popular event

It’s hotting up for next weekend’s Spalding Beer and Music Festival - and for the first time there will be a host of outdoor acts to enjoy.

Committee chairman Sam Nundy said: “The big change this year is we are having some outdoor music.

“We have listened to the customers and we have been blessed with good weather the previous years so we will have an outdoor stage up until 4pm on the Saturday and Sunday.

“We also have 90 different ales and ticket sales are going well so far.”

Half of the festival ticket sales are made online.

The event opens once again at the Castle Sports Complex at 5pm on Friday, May 25, until midnight, then from midday-midnight on Saturday and from midday-10.30pm on Sunday.

Among the acts this year are Loose Rocket, Meg McPartlin and Zebra.

The festival is organised by Spalding Round Table and money raised from the event goes to local causes.
