Here is a rundown of some of the events taking place across the district over the coming weeks.

- Glam Rock night at Pinchbeck Village Hall, Saturday, April 23. Pouk Hill Prophetz will be playing a number of covers, including songs by Queen, T-Rex, UFO etc.Tickets are £10 available from Pinchbeck Football Club or Alan Hansard on 07531 140753. Doors open at 7:30.

- Fosdyke Social Club (Fozzy’s) monthly quiz nights take place on the third Saturday of every month, starting with the St. George’s night quiz. Doors open 7pm. Quiz 8pm. £6 per team. Contact Liz 07380 588898.

- Vocalist Pat Campbell performing at Long Sutton Royal British Legion, Saturday, April 23. Entertainment begins at 8:30pm.

-Terry Carey providing live entertainment at Wyberton Sports & Social Club, Saturday, April 23. Doors open at 7pm, and music starts at 8:30pm. Admission is £4 or £4.50 for non members. Call the club on 01205 355073.

- John Illsley: The Life & Times of Dire Straits at the South Holland Centre. Thursday, April 28 at 8pm.

- Country Superstars at South Holland Centre. Friday, April 29 at 7:30pm.

- Donington’s 90s Night at Donington Community Centre. Saturday, April 30, 7:30pm until late. Fancy dress optional. Contact Narelle on 07950 275543 for tickets which are £10.

-Pop Up Pub at Cowbit Village Hall, Saturday April 30. From 7:30pm until late. Family friendly evening with all drinks £1 or less.

- Messy Church at St Mary’s Church, Cowbit, Saturday, April 30 between 4pm and 6pm. Craft activities, child friendly worship and supper. All children must be accompanied an adult.

- Patrick Monahan: Started at the Bottom, Now I’m Here at South Holland Centre. Thursday, May 5 at 8pm.

- An audience with Wayne Sleep at the South Holland Centre. Friday, May 6 at 7:30pm.

- Bingo at Cowbit Village Hall, Friday May 13. Doors at 6:30pm and eyes down at 7:30pm. £5 for 12 games. Contact Darren Harper on 07903 209126.

- Fleetwood Machine at South Holland Centre, Saturday May 14. Show starts at 7:30pm.

- Daphne’s Flight performing at South Holland Centre, Wednesday May 18 at 7:30pm.

- Flower Festival and Fete at Sutton St James Parish Church Thursday, June 2. The theme of the flower festival is Countries of The Commonwealth. Stalls on the green with teas,coffee and cake served in the church. Contact Cherril Collins on 01945 440319 for information.

- Spalding Gentlemen’s Society is open every Wednesday from 11am - 1pm.
