Become a miller for the day this weekend at Moulton Mill

This Saturday and Sunday (May 11 and 12) is National Mills Weekend and to celebrate, Moulton Mill is giving people the chance to be a miller for the day.

Janet Prescott, mill manager, explained: "People will be able to start right at the top of the mill and learn how to grind the flour.

"It's a full day to experience how the windmill works and find out what it is like to be a miller."

Moulton Mill is the tallest windmill in the country and stands at 100ft high to the top of the cap.

The cost of the 'be a miller for the day' events on either Saturday or Sunday (10am-4pm) are £40 per person, including lunch.

Also, over the weekend, is the chance to tour the mill as usual (until 3pm) at £5 per person. The mill shop will be open and refreshments available in the Granary Tea Room.

Booking is essential for the miller days. Visit www.moultonwindmill.co.uk
