A weekly column by Jan Whitbourn of Tulip Events Management

Regent Bingo in Westlode Street, Spalding, are our sponsors once again for the Caring Neighbour award for the Pride of South Holland Awards.

They have been serving the local community for years and still continue to provide a safe, friendly and comfortable space to relax in and be entertained.

They're currently having a makeover and will relaunch in October, bigger and better than before, so watch this space for more details.

A much loved source of enjoyment for many over the years, the club has also supported stronger communities by reducing social isolation and loneliness.

Team members are often regarded as extended family and the club a second home, especially for those who come to bingo ‘to get out of the house’ or ‘just for some company’.

Members have also made lifelong friendships through their favourite pastime.

Everyone can play their part in being a caring neighbour, be it individuals, families or local businesses.

Mark and his team are looking forward to this year’s event and handing out that very deserving award.

If you would like to know more about this award and others, call Jan on 07779 895388 or email jan@tulip-events.co.uk.
