Spalding date for Dire Straits' legend's tour

Most true music fans will have a copy of Brothers in Arms by Dire Straits in their record collection.

If you can count yourself among one of the band’s army of fans, you won’t want to miss a night with bassist John Illsley.

John, who helped to form the band with Mark Knopfler, will be answering questions and performing hits at the South Holland Centre on Thursday, April 28.

You’ll have the chance to hear top tunes, including Money for Nothing and Sultans of Swing, while taking an intimate look into the life and times of one of the biggest rock and roll bands of all time.

Paul Cummins (ex-Dire Straits management) will be asking the questions which matter the most.
