Christina, who grew up in Spalding, has written nine novels in the DI Yates series, all of which are set in Lincolnshire and Norfolk.

Christina particularly values the opportunity to meet her readers, who have a profound influence on her work.

Viral superstar Jackie Weaver will also be appearing at the festival to talk about her life and that infamous parish council meeting.

Since the Handforth Parish Council video went viral, Jackie has shot to fame and has even written a little book of common sense.

She will be talking about her life as a councillor, a clerk and as chief officer for the Cheshire Association of Local Councils at The Granary at Molecey Mill, West Deeping on Saturday, April 30 at 2.30pm.

Sunday Times bestselling author Louise Candish will also be appearing at the same venue, on the same day, at 5:30pm.
