List of Christmas events in South Holland in build-up to big day
Christmas is nearly upon us in South Holland - so here are some of the most exciting events to keep you busy in the lead-up to the big day.
If you’re looking for some last-minute festive shopping, then make sure to head down to Donington’s Christmas market this weekend.
It will be held at Market Place from 9am to 2pm on Saturday (December 18).
Then, if you’re in the mood for some theatre, South Holland Centre, Spalding, will be the place to be.
The Polka Dot Pantomime group’s Dick Whittington performances are well under way, and tonight (Thursday) you can head down for a relaxed performance at 6pm.
Tomorrow (December 17) there will be a signed performance before the weekend’s action kicks into gear with showings at 2pm and 6pm on Saturday and Sunday.
The shows then continue all the way until December 30. You can check out more times by visiting https://www.southhollandcentre.co.uk/whats-on
Spalding’s elf trail is also ongoing, with Santa’s little helpers hiding throughout the town until Christmas Eve.
Numerous shops are taking part, and if you are able to find the elf’s names you will be entered into a prize draw which could see you win some brilliant shop vouchers during the festive season.
Over at Springfields Outlet Shopping and Leisure, its Winter Wonderland Walk is still available to book.
You can enjoy an illuminated walk with elf hideouts, a Christmas hill and a woodland surprise.
It’s open 4-8.30pm from Wednesday-Friday and closes a few hours earlier at the weekend. All proceeds go to the Royal British Legion.
Next door at Springfields Adventure Land, some fun floodlit golf is taking place.
The final action takes place tomorrow (Friday), 4-8pm, with tickets £3 per person or £10 for a group of four.
This Sunday, you can get into the Christmas spirit by visiting Gosberton Clough Methodist Chapel for carol singing at 10.30am.
