One of Europe’s “finest country-fold blues duos” will be performing at Crowland Abbey on Sunday, April 2, for an evening of classic acoustic good times blues.
English duo Rag Mama Rag (Ashley and Deborah Dow) have built up an excellent reputation, playing an interesting range of instruments such as the washboard and Weissenborn Acoustic Lap Steel.
Their music creates an “exceptionally full and hard-driving rhythmic sound” to get audiences’ feet tapping.
Tickets for the concert, which starts at 7.30pm, cost £10 (available from Bridge Hardware, Crowland and the Abbey between 11am-3pm, or online from www.ticketsource.co.uk/Crowland-PCC)
Tickets on the door are £12.50.
