It's summer fayre time at Flinders Park
Flinders Park in Donington offers plenty of fun this Sunday (June 3) at its summer fayre.
Enjoy a day out filled with entertainment, including dancing along to live music and a chance to relax in the tea tent.
A Battle of Britain Memorial Flight flypast is planned at 3pm and children can be preoccupied by the bouncy castle, face-painting and swinging boats.
There's also a chance to look inside a fire engine and learn all about being a firefighter.
Burgers and refreshments will be available to buy, and other items can be purchased at the event, including wood crafts, berries from the Berry Stores and much more.
And you can also bring your pets to the fayre as well, where they can hang out with other furry friends in the area allocated for animals, so they can enjoy the day to.
Entry is free and the event runs from midday until 5pm.
All proceeds from the event go towards IDEA (Improving the Donington Environment for All), who look after Flinders Park.
Members of the voluntary group work hard to protect facilities in the village and have worked closely alongside Flinders Founders (named after explorer Matthew Flinders, who was born in the village.)
