Donington Summer Fest 2019: Climbing wall, live music, Parkour and plenty of food and drink on offer




Donington Summer Fest returns on Saturday, July 6, for another year of sunshine, live music, and family fun, writes Patrick Walsh.

The festival is on the rise, growing bigger and better each year, with everything from food, stalls and a climbing wall to Parkour, crazy golf and more. Picnics are also welcome.

There's live music throughout the day from 12.30pm with acts including ‘Children of the Revolution’, ‘Radius 45’ and ‘Penguinz’, plus special guest DJ 'The unfamous SJC' keeping the party going between the bands.

This year’s festival will also see a range of alcoholic drinks on sale including a new ‘Rainbow Gin Bar’.

It all takes place from midday until 11pm on the Donington Community Centre field. Tickets are £3 for over 14s and free for anyone under 14.
