Open day at Flatlands Alpaas in Crowland, 'Tinsel a Tree' in Whaplode Drove, Military Wives choir in Sutton St James and comedy show at Imaginarium

Next week, you can head along to an open day and celebrate the festive fun with some alpacas. Louise Holland is inviting people to go along to Flatlands Alpacas in Crowland on December 12 to meet the interesting animals.

The open day will last from 10am-2pm. Tickets cost £5, and under-3s can get in for free. To book, email info@flatlandalpacas.co.uk

Meanwhile, Whaplode Drove will play host to two exciting events this weekend.

Youngsters will be able to ‘Tinsel a Tree’ at St John the Baptist Church porch this Saturday, and can pop down any time between noon and 3pm. Tinsel and trees will be supplied.

On the same day from 1-4pm, there will be a Christmas fair in the Church Room. Entry is free, with light refreshments available.

A Military Wives choir from Cottesmore entertain at Sutton St James village hall on Sunday. It will kick off at 2pm and rounds off at 4.30pm.

A festive tea/coffee/toast morning will be on at Pinchbeck Baptist Church on December 20 from 10am-1pm.

Imaginarium in Spalding will host a comedy night tomorrow for over-18s, with tickets costing £14 and doors opening at 6pm for an 8pm start.
