Act II will perform The Hunchback of Notre Dam at Crowland Abbey

A classic tale will be given new life when it comes to South Holland next weekend.

On Saturday, November 13, local theatre group Act II will be performing The Hunchback of Notre Dame at Crowland Abbey.

For the play, acted out for children by children, tickets will cost just £6.

Doors will open at 6.30pm, with the curtain raising at 7pm.

lCrowland residents are also being encouraged to listen out for a Quarter Peal bell ringing later this month.

This will be at 12.15pm on November 28 to celebrate the 125th anniversary of the first recorded full Peal being rung at the Abbey.

Anyone who wants to pop in and watch the bell-ringers at work will be free to do so.

lElsewhere in the Lincolnshire theatre landscape, Stamford Corn Exchange Theatre have some exciting shows coming up.

Tomorrow (Friday), Luisa Omielan: God is a Woman will kick off at 8pm.

On November 9, The Circus of Horrors will be sure to terrify guests – while Forbidden Nights will come to town two days later on November 11 at 7.30pm.
