Get your motor running for bike meet in aid of two charities in Holbeach

Calling all bikers - for the first ever charity bike meet in aid of Holbeach and East Elloe Trust, and Macmillan Cancer Support.

On Saturday (June 8), bikers are invited to gather at the Holbeach Hospital on Boston Road North in an event organised by its finance assistant Millie Howard.

Millie was inspired to hold the event after her dad, Kev, recently rode 840-miles from John O’Groats to Land’s End (JOGLE) to raise money for the two charities.

The bike meet on Saturday runs from 1-4pm.

"We're holding a Best In Show bike competition where one of the hospital residents will come out and pick a winner and a guess the mileage competition of the JOGLE bike that my dad rode." A Sports Bike Shop voucher is up for grabs for the winner.

"Dad will put up a big map of the route, with some footage and photos. And there'll be cake. Bikers love cake!" she added.
