The Nutcracker has long been described as one of the most delightful ways to discover the enchantment of ballet – making for a stunning treat for all the family.

Here, Lev Ivanov’s 1892 ballet, combined with Tchaikovsky’s iconic score, are presented in a festive period setting with vivid designs to make this a charming and magical production.

The music is matched to a magical adventure on Christmas Eve for Clara and her Nutcracker doll.

Their journey to the Land of Sweets brings with it some of the most familiar of all ballet moments, such as the Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy and the Waltz of the Flowers.

Tickets start at £10 and are available from the box office on 01775 764777.
