More news, no ads

Avid readers will be spoilt for choice when an incredibly popular event returns next month.

Following the success of its inaugural event last year, the second Boston Book Festival promises to be even better.

Taking place at four venues across the town, the festival will bring a wealth of authors out to talk about their creations.

There will be several events happening, for people of all ages between Friday, September 16 and Sunday, September 18.

On Saturday, September 17, Reverend Richard Coles will be talking all about his life, his latest book - Murder Before Evensong - and he will also be taking questions at his event at Blackfriars Theatre.

Children’s authors Jill Newton and Luke Temple will be on hand to read stories and interact with youngsters at a number of sessions, while crime writers such as Lisa Hartley Elliot, Barbara Copperthwaite and Nell Pattison will be talking about their books.

If you fancy writing fiction but don’t know where to start, Joy Ellis, Janice Frost and Jasper Joffe will be holding a workshop filled with tips at Fydell House on the Saturday morning. There will also be book signing events plus other workshops. For more information visit www.bostonbookfest.co.uk
