Classic fairy tale retold in Crowland as Beauty and the Beast is performed in February
Crowland Amateur Dramatic Society or 'CADS' as they are lovingly known, have been hard at work rehearsing for their next production.
They will perform Beauty and the Beast next month at Crowland South View Primary School.
The production is based on the traditional fairy tale with well-loved characters in an original script by James Barry.
Among the cast is 17-year-old Dilara Green playing Belle; the 'good' fairy (Goody Two Shoes) will be played by Jayne Munton and Joanne Strickland is playing the 'bad' fairy ('Fairy Bovver Boots).
The Beast will be played by Cheryl Doyle and CADS chairman John Munton is taking on the part of the dame called Smell.
Playing Claude, Belle's father, is John Martin and Carlos is played by Carla Cole.
The show is on February 15 and 16.
