What to see at the 33rd Bicker Steam Threshing and Classic Car Show




It’s the Bicker Steam Threshing and Classic Car Show this Saturday and Sunday (September 7 and 8).

The popular event, held in the village since the late ‘80s, will feature steam engines, classic cars, motorbikes and cycles, vintage tractors, fairground organs, a craft and model shed and more.

It's all held at Silver Hill Field on Gauntlet Road in the village from 10am both days.

Attractions also include MALT playing in the refreshments area, East of England Poultry Club and a dog show on Sunday from 11am.

Plus, there will be The Black Pig Boarder Morris Dancers and refreshments available throughout the day with tea, cakes, a barbecue and bar. Ice cream is available from Yorkshire Dales.

Ring events commentator Alan Philips is back by popular demand and Derek Tindall will appear with his falconry display. Show tickets are £5 for adults and £1 for children.
