We will be spoilt for choice this weekend when it comes to events and activities.

Depending on what you enjoy, there are a host of events taking place over Saturday and Sunday.

For those who are in search of live music, Spalding’s legendary band Zebra will be putting on a gig in Market Deeping.

The band will be playing two 40 minute sets in the outside area at The Stage on Saturday between 8pm and 10pm. And we are reliably informed that the pizza oven will be in action on the night.

Earlier that day, Spalding Indoor Bowls Club will be offering an open day for people to learn more about the sport. Anyone who is interested in finding out about it can pop along to the Castle Sports Complex between 10am and 2pm.

To register your interest, email play@spaldingindoorbowls.co.uk or call the club development officer on 07525 360 180.

On Sunday, August 1, there will be plenty of family fun to be had across the area.

In Pinchbeck there will be a village yard sale starting at 10.30am, so pop along to the village if you are in search of a bargain.

Meanwhile, on the same day in Moulton there will be a charity tractor run in aid of the village’s windmill. Tractors will be setting off from Moulton Bulb Company’s (Oldershaws Group) field on Broad Lane at 10am.

There will be a raffle and refreshments – and entry is £10 per tractor. It will be a sight to behold as they pass through the area.

A launch event will be taking place in Spalding for the South Holland Outdoor Festival.

Starting at 11.30am at Sir Halley Stewart Playing Field, visitors are encouraged to take a picnic and to enjoy listening to relaxed live musical entertainment, take part in some outdoor activities and enjoy making something in the art and craft area.

The event is free and is open to everyone but no dogs are allowed.
