Laugh out loud as the Funhouse Comedy Club returns to Spalding this November
Bringing joy, laughter and stand-up to Spalding, the Funhouse Comedy Club is back at the South Holland Centre this month.
Winner of the Comedy Store King Gong award, Karen Bayley will use a combination of hilarious one-liners and excellently timed jokes to leave the audience wanting more, writes Patrick Walsh.
Originally from Lincolnshire, and now based in Manchester, Pete Phillipson uses daily frustrations and misfortunes to fuel his belly-aching jokes that will have the audience in tears from start to finish.
And headlining the evening will be Markus Birdman, one of the most renowned circuit acts in the country.
From Hong Kong to Pakistan and India to France, Birdman has made people laugh across the globe with his intelligent, and sometimes controversial jokes.
His versatility and hard-to-resist comedy will certainly have the audience in stitches.
Overseeing the whole night will be host Tony Cowards, combining a range of different jokes and styles executed with a carefree and relaxed manner.
The Funhouse Comedy Club is on Friday, November 16,in the Function Hall at the Centre.
Tickets cost £10.50 in advance or £13 on the door. The bar will be open from 7.30pm and the show starts at 8.30pm.
