Peterborough venue to host musical which will raise several smiles
If you’re looking for an escape from the current state of the world, one venue has a line up of laughter-inducing shows just for you.
There are a wealth of comedy stars who are gearing up to take to the stage at The Cresset in Peterborough in April, including a star of a hit TV show.
On Wednesday, April 6, Chrissy Rock, known for her role in Benidorm, will be talking (or singing) about hot flushes, mood swings, memory lapses and weight gain when Menopause The Musical 2 - Cruising Through Menopause arrives.
The hysterical sequel to the smash-hit Menopause The Musical, we fast-forward five years to catch up with the same four characters, played by Rebecca Wheatley, Nicki French, Susie Fenwick and Chrissy, for tales of their lives, loves and losses as they set off on the high seas.
Cruising Through Menopause is a hilarious, heartfelt, reassuring and unflinching look at the joys of menopause and friendship.
Step on board for a trip of self-discovery, love and friendship all backed by a soundtrack of brand-new toe-tapping parodied hits. You’ll be laughing, singing and maybe even dancing on stage!
For tickets to the performance, which is a 16+ event, visit www.cresset.co.uk or call the Box Office on 01733 265705.
