Round-up of the action in the Peterborough Youth League




Holbeach United Yellow Under 15s claimed the club bragging rights after a Peterborough Youth League Cup clash between two of the Tigers' teams on Sunday.

They ran out 5-0 winners against their Red team club-mates thanks to goals from Thomas Hoyle (2), Kelvin Ibeneme (2) and Reece Floyd.

Holbeach United Black are also in the same group as their club colleagues and currently lead the way after a second successive victory on Sunday.

They ran out 3-1 winners in their away clash at Bourne Town Red thanks to goals from Callum Carr (2) and Joseph Rous. Max Goring replied for the Wakes.

Pinchbeck United Sports suffered a heavy 8-0 away defeat at Peterborough Nene in the same competition while Deeping Rangers ran out 4-1 winners at March Academy Blue.

Harry Rippon, Beau Baines, Charlie Brooks and Luke Woodhouse were on target for the Clarets who have taken four points from their opening two games.

Thurlby Tigers have a similar return in the same group after a 5-1 home win over Stamford Young Daniels White.

Holbeach United Yellow and Bourne Town Red played out a goalless draw in the Under 16 competition while Pinchbeck United Sports went down to a 5-2 home reversal against Glinton & Northborough Amber.

Holbeach United Black found their shooting boots in the Under 18 cup competition with a thumping 13-1 win at Blackstones.

Elliot Foster led the Tigers' scoring spree with a four-goal blast while Joshua Ling hit a hat-trick haul.

Bradleigh Appleby, Adam Day, Daniel Roberts, Brandon Clare and Sam Miller were also on target as the Tigers made it two wins from two.

Bourne Town Red also hit double figures as they ran out 11-0 winners at Colsterworth Colts.

Nathan Bills led the Wakes' charge with a sensational seven-goal haul while William Hawkins hit a hat-trick with Tom Cameron also on target.

Moulton Harrox Blue are top of their group after an 8-0 home win over Bourne Town Clarets continued their unbeaten start.

Finlay Henderson's goal helped Deeping United secure a share of the spoils in a 1-1 home draw with Stamford Young Daniels Yellow while their Red team club-mates ran out 2-0 home winners over Pinchbeck United Sports.
