Spalding United host Grimsby Town in the Lincolnshire Senior Cup
Spalding United make their long-awaited return to the Sir Halley Stewart ground on Saturday.
The Tulips take on National League side Grimsby Town in the quarter-final of the Lincolnshire Senior Cup (kick-off 3pm).
The match is Spalding’s first home game since October 17 last year when they went down to a narrow one-goal defeat against Bedford Town in the FA Trophy.
They will face a Grimsby side on Saturday who were relegated out of the Football League last season.
The Mariners – who are managed by former Boston United boss Paul Hurst – have made a number of summer signings as they target a quick return from the National League.
Former Burton Albion midfielder Ben Fox, ex-Darlington winger Erico Sousa and Jamaican international Joel Grant are among their summer signings.
Tulips boss Gabriel Zakuani has also been busy during the close season, signing former Peterborough United player Marcus Maddison, who has netted twice in the opening couple of pre-season games.
Spalding go into the match on the back of a 3-1 away defeat at Staveley Miners Welfare in their latest pre-season friendly on Tuesday night.
Nathan Stainfield had given Spalding a 35th minute lead before their Northern Counties East League hosts equalised on the stroke of half-time.
Staveley then struck twice in the second period as Spalding made a number of changes throughout the latter stages of the game.
Tickets for Saturday's cup clash are priced at £6 for adults, £3 concessions, £1 for 11-16-year-olds. Under 11s are admitted free.

The Clarets will then welcome Spalding on Saturday, July 24, as part of their preparations for the new United Counties League Premier Division North season which starts on Tuesday, August 3, with an away trip to face Boston Town.
Pinchbeck visit Swaffham Town on Saturday while Bourne Town host Lincoln United's Development Squad.
The match is taking place at Bourne Rugby Club in Milking Nook Drove with a 1.30pm kick-off.
Moulton Harrox - who were 3-0 home winners over Lincolnshire League side Wyberton on Wednesday night - visit March Town.
