Junior Banger star Lewis Ivatt had plenty to celebrate at King’s Lynn on Saturday night when he raced to an impressive heat and final double.

The Spalding driver also took the chequered flag in the first heat but was subsequently found to be a lap down.

He made no mistake in the second heat and meeting final when he took two fantastic victories.

James Bruce was also in action in the 1300 Stock Cars where his most assured performance to date saw him lead the meeting final for half the race before the higher grade drivers battled through.

Simon Venni made the long trip to Cowdenbeath in Scotland to contest the 2L Stock Car National Championship.

He failed to qualify through the heats and came home sixth in the last chance race, then coming home in 12th place from the back of the grid in the championship.

Stock Car and Banger Racing returns to the Adrian Flux Arena on Saturday, June 16, featuring the 1500cc Bangers in their annual East Anglian Teams, 2L Stock Cars and 1300 Stock Cars.
