Spalding United captain Nathan Stainfield is named in the Northerm Premier League Midlands Division team of the season

Spalding United defender Nathan Stainfield has netted a coveted place in the Northern Premier League team of the season.

Stainfield has been chosen in the 16-man Midlands Division squad that was selected by league managers.

His inclusion capped a fine campaign for the Tulips skipper who was a multi-award winner at the Tulips’ presentation night.

He has also committed himself to another season at the Sir Halley Stewart ground where he has been joined by new signings Elliot Sandy and James Clifton who have joined the Tulips from Corby Town.
