Crowland back to winning ways

In the ChromaSport Peterborough & District Football League premier division, Crowland Town beat Long Sutton with an emphatic 4-0 scoreline.

ICA Sports beat Cardea for their third win of the season with a tight 1-0 victory, and Moulton Harrox remained perfect this season with a sixth consecutive win in their campaign with a 3-0 win over Peterborough North End Sports.

Holbeach United Reserves also kept up their unbeaten start to the season, with a 1-1 draw over Uppingham Town thanks to a goal from Jordan Keeble.

In Division One, Pinchbeck United crumbled to a 4-0 loss to Eunice Huntingdon for their fifth loss of the season, Rippingale & Folkingham lost comprehensively to Stamford Belvedere with a 7-1 loss, and Crowland Town Reserves lost to Thorpe Wood Rangers 2-1.

Tydd continued their superb form of late with a fourth consecutive victory in the league with a victory over Moulton Harrox with an emphatic 5-1 victory.

In Division Two, Long Sutton Athletic Reserves lost 6-1 to Ramsey Town with their fifth loss of the season.

Meanwhile, in Division Four, Deeping United won emphatically against Warboys Town Reserves with an 8-0 victory with a hat-trick from Nathan Smith, and goals for; Nathan Gunns, Steve Christmas, Steve Juckias, Matthew Wilkin, and Ryan Ellwood.

Finally, in Division Five, Deeping United Reserves lost 5-2 against Rippingale & Folkingham Reserves , and NECI Reserves lost 3-0 to Langtoft United.

Holbeach Bank lost again and this time to Oundle Town Reserves with an 8-1 loss.

Sutton Bridge United remained top of the league and unbeaten with a seventh victory of the season with a 3-1 victory over Weldon United Reserves.

In the Balcan Lighting Supplies Premier Division, Wyberton beat Grimsby Borough Reserves with a second consecutive 1-0 victory.

The Fishtoft Cup took place this weekend with Wyberton Reserves progressing to the next round on penalties after a 2-2 draw with Railway Athletic.

In the Boston Workforce Unlimited Saturday League Division One, Bull Athletic (Wyberton) drew 1-1 with Boston Town Reserves.

Also, Kirton Town lost 4-1 at home to Eagle Town and went second from bottom in the league.

In Division Two, Swineshead Institute Reserves played their part in a thriller with Spilsby Town Reserves after a 4-4 draw.

Finally, in Division Three, Swineshead Institute 'A' unfortunately lost 3-1 to FC Wrangle and Holbeach Bank beat Bull Athletic Reserves with an impressive 5-0.

Pinchbeck United Sports came out on top of a nine goal thriller with a 6-3 win against Mareham United and Wyberton 'A' beat Boston College Reserves a tight 3-2.
