It was a case of mud glorious mud for the Three Counties Running Club athletes who took on the Shouldham Cross Country on Sunday.
It was a bright morning for the event, run by Ryston Runners.
Eight Three Counties members took part and they found the 9K course challenging as well as muddy from the heavy rain of the previous day.
But that didn’t put the runners off, with many setting personal best times.
Sue George and Colin Simpson both came third in their age categories.
Prior to that, on Saturday, Colin and Joely Apps took part in the Peterborough Parkrun.
Elsewhere, Joseph and Justeene Hammond, and Steve and Esme Whitelam tackled a cold and wet King’s Lynn Parkrun, with Esme setting a new PB, crossing the line in 33mins 28secs, three minutes than her previous best time, paced by dad Steve.
