RUGBY: Town’s winning run over, Deepings and Bourne also beaten

Have your say

Spalding RFC’s three-game winning streak in Midlands One East ended with a 25-19 home loss to Bedford Athletic on Saturday, while Deepings and Bourne both suffered defeats.

Town’s narrow Memorial Field beating sees them drop back into the bottom three – but they performed admirably against a side that thrashed them earlier in the season.

Meanwhile, Deepings lost 22-12 at home to Rugby St Andrews in Midlands Three East (South) and Bourne were battered 102-0 at Brackley in Midlands Four East (South).
