Home start for Bourne Town Reserves




Bourne Town Reserves have been handed a home start to the United Counties League’s new cup competition.

The Wakes’ second string are competing in the Kingfisher Lighting Supplementary Cup that has been introduced following the curtailment of the league campaign.

They have been grouped with the reserve sides of Bugbrooke St
Michaels, Harborough Town, Lutterworth Athletic, ON Chenecks and Rothwell Corinthians.

Every team plays against each other once with the top two teams then competing in a one-off final.

The Wakes start with a home match against Rothwell Corinthians on Saturday, April 10, before visiting ON Chenecks the following weekend.

They then entertain Lutterworth Athletic on Saturday, April 24, before rounding off the group competition with a home match against Bugbrooke on May 1 and a trip to Harborough on May 8.
