Record entry earns £1,500 at Spalding Rugby Club's golf day




Spalding Rugby Club held its annual golf day with a record entry of 84 players.

The Spalding course was in superb condition - offering a challenge to all the golfers on the day in a pairs betterball format.

Main sponsors Turnbull were delighted to be supporting the event and entered eight players.

Organiser Peter Jullien said: “This year’s golf day was one of our best and we are very grateful for all the support we have received, especially from the business community and our main sponsors Turnbull.

“We hope to have raised over £1,500 to help fund replacing the mini and juniors kit and equipment container at our new ground which is leaking and rusting away.”
