MOTORSPORT: Autograss season gets into gear

Have your say

The first race meeting of the new season for Spalding Autograss Club revs up this Sunday (11.30am).

This year there are a number of family racers with three generations in one family all actively racing.

The youngest driver is 12 and this will be her first time racing.

A club spokesman said: “If you have a few hours free please come along and see what we are all about.

“We’re a friendly bunch and are more than happy to let you wander among the cars during the break and will happily answer any questions.”

Autograss is a good excuse for an inexpensive day out. Adults pay £6, over 60’s £5 and under 16’s (accompanied with an adult) go free.

The track is in Hurdletree Bank, just outside Holbeach off the B1168.
