DISABILITY swimmer Sophie Taylor, of Spalding’s South Lincs Swimming Club, competed well at the Junior National Disability Swimming Championships at Ponds Forge in Sheffield.
The 14-year-old (pictured) managed qualifying times in the 50m, 100m and 400m freestyle races and in 100m backstroke. She also represented the East Midlands relay team.
At the end of a very successful weekend, Sophie had gained a PB in most of her races, four silver medals and a bronze from the relay.
She is now training hard for the British Internationals at Ponds Forge this month.
