LEE Rudd was up against shocking conditions at his supermoto meet in Rowrah over the weekend.
The Holbeach-based Team TRM rider faced up to wet, cold and windy weather at the Cumbria circuit and struggled to find anything like his best form.
Still nursing a knock picked up after crashing at Silverstone, Rudd did manage to secure a hat-trick of 14th placed finishes.
With visibility poor and the track difficult to negotiate, that this represented a reasonable return for the experienced rider.
Having had two weekends off, talented Rudd brothers Ryan, Ashley and Kieran all make a return to the track this weekend.
They are in motocross action at Sculthorpe, where they will compete in their usual categories.
See next Thursday’s Spalding Guardian to find out how they got on.
