WAYNE Dent provided the highlight of Long Sutton B’s win over their A team.

He left Stuart Atkin seated for much of the match with a cracking 75 break. It was 25 short of the league’s best break this season, made by Pyramid F’s Alfonso Palumbo.

The margin of Sutton B’s 5-1 win brought them into contention at the top of Division One, thanks to defeats for top two Donington A and Pyramid F.

In Division Two, black ball wins for Adam Braybrook and Paul Turnell clinched a 4-2 win for Long Sutton D at Gosberton A, while Gosberton B’s Mark Law (R7) made a 23 in their 5-1 win at Holbeach D.

Consti H held on to top spot in Division Three thanks to wins for Tony and Jason Houghton and Doug Garfoot.

Division Four’s Donington B got the league’s only 6-0 success of the week, at Pyramid B.
