WISBECH Inline Speed Skating Club – who boast a spree of South Holland competitors – dazzled once again at a recent event at Tatem Park in London.

Michael McInerney took the overall championship in category one with a first in the 3K, another win in the 10K and a cool fifth place in the 500m race.

Whaplode St Catherine’s Joe Adam Hardy starred in category two thanks to first places in the 2K and 5K, along with second place in the 500m.

In category six, Eve McInerney bagged wins in the 300m and 500m, while Lucy McInernery took fourth in both the 300m and 500m.

Not to be outdone, three newcomers to the sport competed in the two rat races.

Ellie Sooley-Drew was first in both races, while Daniel Bates (second) and Jordan Adebisi also did well.

The club would like to thank Wisbech Inline Speed for sponsoring their new skin suits.
