BRILLIANT brothers Ryan and Ashley Rudd are celebrating after both became East of England motocross champions.
The Team TRM duo enjoyed great success at a two day meet in Chatteris over the weekend, as they each won three of their five races at Chatteris.
In the Big Wheel category, Ryan dominated proceedings on Saturday as he took a hat-trick of victories. It proved a bit tougher for him the following day, but finishes of fourth of fifth allowed him to clinch the coveted title.
It was a similar story for younger brother Ashley as he raced to a trio of wins on the opening day.
The Sunday saw him bag two second places, which was more than enough to clinch the crown – making it a scorching double for the Holbeach-based team.
The duo’s younger brother Kieran Rudd was also out on the track in the autos.
His fledgling career continues to gather pace and he delivered a fine eighth-placed finish.
It could have been better for the six-year-old, but a couple of crashes hampered his progress a little bit.
Another TRM man, Lee Rudd, was unable to get on the track at the Silverstone Masters over the weekend.
His shoulder injury is still causing him pain and his team are unsure as to when he’ll return to full fitness.
Ryan, Ashley and Kieran Rudd will be joined by Mark Rudd this weekend, as the quartet gear up for more motocross action at Great Hockham.
After that the team will enjoy a rare week off.
