BROTHERS Ryan and Ashley Rudd couldn’t have been in better form at Chatteris over the weekend.
The Holbeach siblings swept the board for Team TRM in their respective categories at the motocross meet as both secured overall glory.
In the big wheel section Ryan secured an impressive hat-trick of wins to extend his advantage in the individual championship standings.
It was a similar story for younger brother Ashley in the small wheel series.
He won the first two races at a canter, before a fall in the third left him up against it. But he showed remarkable pace and spirit to battle back for a third win, wrapping up the overall honours and extending his series advantage to boot.
Not to be outdone, six-year-old Kieran Rudd was also in encouraging form.
He bagged finishes of 14th, tenth and 12th to place 12th overall out of 23 riders in the auto section. For one so small, the youngest of the Rudd siblings is showing a lot of promise.
The trio are back in Norfolk and Suffolk motocross action this weekend, with Mark Rudd expected to return from injury.
But Lee Rudd is some way from a riding return after suffering a separated shoulder.
He is still receiving treatment on the injury picked up at Rowrah the previous weekend and no time-scale is being put on his return.
