Ashley Rudd was in fine form when competing on a new track at Thetford Forest at the weekend.
With many riders hitting the deck over two days of racing at the Norfolk and Suffolk Club meeting, the 15-year-0ld not only stayed on his bike but recorded a victory on his 250cc machine.
After recording two thirds and a fourth on the opening day, he won his second race on Sunday to go with two fifth places to finish third overall.
Brother Ryan also competed in the 250cc class and took the holeshot prize for hitting the first bend in front in his second race on day one.
He finished that race in third and later suffered a crash while leading the second race on day two of the meeting.
The 18-year-old, who was third in the day’s opener, picked himself up to finish 11th.
Younger sibling Kieran, in his first year in the junior 65cc category, recorded two fourth places but the nine-year-old impressed many with his determined display as he finished sixth overall.
