RYAN Rudd reigned supreme at a Chatteris motocross meet on Sunday.

The Holbeach-based Team TRM ace notched a stunning double win amid awful conditions at an event that was eventually abandoned.

Riding in the big wheel category, he was pushed all the way in his opener before closing out an impressive win.

His second race was held in atrocious wet conditions – something Rudd doesn’t usually revel in. But he roared to another scorching success before the meet was called to a halt.

Not to be outdone, younger brothers Kieran Rudd and Ashley Rudd were also in fantastic form.

Fast-starting Ashley earned the hole shot in his small wheel opener, but a crash saw him fall back to 14th.

Undeterred, the speedy youngster made his way back through the field to secure an eye-catching second place. That was his only outing of the afternoon.

Also racing just the once was Kieran.

The ever-improving starlet took a hugely impressive sixth place and is really starting to make strides out on the track.

Team TRM now have a weekend off, before making the trip to Sculthorpe the following week for another motocross meet.
