CROWLAND Tae Kwondo Club ended their season on a real high with a surprise ceremony last Friday night.

Awards were dished out to recognise the achievements members have managed throughout the year.

They ranged from bravery and courage, grit and determination, to effort and enthusiasm, with awards also going to the senior students for sterling efforts assisting at the club.

A special shield was awarded to the student of the year, Lucas Turner-Grantham.

The club trains on a Thursday night at the University Academy Holbeach (formerly St Guthlac), Postland Road, Crowland (7pm-9pm).

They start back in the new year from January 5. Anyone interested can call Richard on 07891 048163.
