Cowbit’s Marc Kemp started his KTM X-Bow Battle Championship on a high by winning the first race of the season in the Czech Republic.
The only British competitor against drivers from 12 different nations took first place in qualifying at Brno.
In race one Kemp made a charge away from the rest of the grid to lead the race from start to finish of the 30-minute event.
Day two qualifying didn’t go so well as, struggling with traffic, he could only post the second best time.
In race two Kemp spent three laps pushing hard to try to catch the first-placed car but his efforts were cut short when the third-placed car collided, spinning him out of the race.
The next round is on May 27 and 28 at The Red Bull Ring, Austria.
