Spalding teenager Johnathan Hoggard was presented with his championship trophies for finishing third and the top rookie in the SuperOne
British Karting Championship at a lavish ceremony at the Autosport International show, followed by a gala dinner in the evening.

On the back of the 14-year-old’s impressive debut season, he has received an open invitation to visit the F1 world champions Mercedes AMG Petronas headquarters in Northamptonshire to meet key personnel and see first hand how the world championship winning F1 car is designed and built.

Johnathan is moving up to race in the Junior Max class and joining the World Championship winning race team KR Sport.

He is scheduled to race in both the SuperOne British Championship and the Euromax European Championship with races taking place in Spain, Italy, France, Germany and Belgium.
