A CHARITY hockey match has raised an impressive £1,000 for The Garth School in Spalding.
Players and fans from Spalding and Long Sutton’s hockey clubs turned out in force for a friendly fixture at Surfleet’s Glen Park, which was organised by member of staff Luke Jackson.
There was a great turnout from both players and fans, with a number generous donations boosting the special school’s coffers.
Two local companies also helped out with donations and took the money raised into four figures.
They came from Stephen Jackson’s Electrotech and also Phil Callow’s Ark Solutions.
All money raised goes to The Garth School.
